A resident of Kano, Ummakulthum (Ummita) was butchered by a Chinese man who she once rejected his marriage proposal and got married to her lover. According to an eye witness he broke into their house and slaughter her. Her cousin Hafsat wrote on her twiter page ‘He helped us financially and was happy for her throughout the marriage preparation’ May her soul rest in peace and justice prevail.
